Thus far, I have spent a lot of time simply learning about a very comprehensive field.
To acquire as much knowledge as possible about the elderly in Norway, I have talked with the heads of institutions, health professionals, enthusiasts and, not least, with senior citizens themselves.
I’ve come to know people with big hearts, important life stories and exciting experiences. So far, I have been received with open arms and doors. I take this responsibility seriously and I’m afraid I won’t be able to convey the essence of the project the way it deserves. I feel like I’m just starting to explore something that I think will keep me enthralled for quite some time.
In addition to the guidance and inspiration provided by NJP, photographer colleagues and other bright minds, I choose to believe that the process will take me where I’m going.
