On Friday, 22 September, three of the photographers taking part in this year’s edition of NJP will be taking the stage at the Dok23 photo festival in Fredrikstad.<\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1739303479541{padding-top: 4% !important;}” text_direction=”default”]After a few years’ hiatus, the Dok photo festival is back. On the weekend of 22 to 24 September, Norwegian and international photographers alike will be attending the festival in Fredrikstad to show their works.<\/p>\n

The programme will include current NJP participants as well as NJP alumni<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At 2 p.m. on Friday, 22 September, Lars Martin Hunstad<\/a>,\u00a0Giulia Mangione<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Jo Straube<\/a>\u00a0will be appearing at the House of Literature to talk about and show their NJP projects, which will be launched in the NJP book in just a few weeks. Their projects address the topics of Northern Norway, people who fear the end of the world, and gender reassignment.<\/p>\n

On the evening of the same day, photographer\u00a0Nora Savosnick<\/a>\u00a0will be speaking to an audience about her work as a freelance photographer, with special focus on Ukraine. Over the past two years, she has visited the country seven times. At 6.30 p.m. on Friday, she will talk about her work and her impressions. In addition to the NJP photographers, the programme includes the Danish photojournalist Mads Nissen, the Ukrainian photographer Julia Kochetova, VG designer Simen Gryt\u00f8yr, and the Danish photo artist Matilde S\u00f8es Rasmussen.<\/p>\n
