Arnesen has developed a tough, provocative visual language in black and white, in the border zone between art and photojournalism. Her photographs are intimate and painful, experimental and assertive.<\/h3>\n

She plans to work on a project about teenagers that calls for precisely this closeness to the subjects. The NJP editors believe that her approach to photography will help foster stimulating discussions within the group and serve as an inspiration, at the same time we believe that encountering other styles and approaches will help her to develop further.<\/p>\n

Early womanhood<\/h4>\n

Jeg vil utforske unge norske jenters identitet. I en verden som er enda t\u00f8ffere enn da jeg vokste opp, formes unge kvinner og menn av idealer som kan oppfattes som umenneskelige. Jeg vil m\u00f8te jentene uten klisjeer og fordommer. Jeg \u00f8nsker \u00e5 f\u00f8lge 4-6 ten\u00e5ringsjenter over en periode hvor jeg kan f\u00e5 innblikk i deres liv og tanker. Jeg \u00f8nsker at dette skal v\u00e6re jenter som ikke kjenner hverandre, og som bor p\u00e5 ulike steder i Norge.
